Children’s Ministries

 

Nursery: Our nursery coordinator is Mrs. Jennifer Gonzalez (photo). The nursery is available for children from birth to 3 yrs old and is provided at the beginning of the service. We desire to nurture a child’s trust and confidence by providing a secure and loving environment for them. Our aim is that each child will experience the love of our Lord Jesus Christ through our care givers.

 

The spiritual growth of our children is as much a priority for us as is their physical growth. Our primary goal is to teach them the Word of God on a level that they can understand and through methods that they will readily receive.

 

Our Children’s Church is led by Mrs. Laurie Authement (photo) and Mrs. Sara Fonseca (photo) and is available for children from 4 – 7 yrs old.

 

Our Tweens class is led by Mrs. Annette Robinson (photo) and is available for children from 8 – 12 yrs old.

 

Our Youth class is led by Kenny Authement (photo) and covers both junior high and high school age youth (13 – 18 yrs)

 

The commitment of our Children’s Ministries workers is evident in their faithfulness to God’s calling, their love for their students and the great effort they put forth every week to not only instruct the children but also engage them in the truths of God’s Word and its application to their own lives through age appropriate activities. Whether it be with arts and crafts in Children’s Church, scripture based games and instructional contests in the Tweens class or verse by verse teaching with an emphasis on fostering spiritual character in the Youth class; not only are the children’s minds challenged but their hearts are also encouraged as they experience spiritual growth.
